A suspect involved in a homicide on Gaylene Ave. back in March has taken a plea deal.
22-year-old Spencer Rhines was one of three arrested in connection with a homicide at the 5200 block of Gaylene Avenue.
Rhines plead no contest to assault with a deadly weapon. The charges of first degree murder, participating in a street gang, and carrying a concealed firearm in public were dropped.
A 17-year-old juvenile and 20-year-old Isaiah Fontana were also arrested in connection with the homicide.
Rhines' sentencing is set for September 20.
