Free childhood vaccine immunization clinics around Bakersfield

Adventist Health Bakersfield is offering several free childhood immunization clinics during December.

The clinics will be held in the parking lots of various locations around Bakersfield. According to Vaccine for Children guidelines, vaccines are free of charge to children under 18-years-old who have no health insurance, are eligible for Medi-Cal (must present card at visit), or is American Indian or Native Alaskan.

No appointment is necessary but immunization cards are required. Children under five-years-old will be given priority.

The immunizations will protect children against vaccine-preventable diseases at the following locations:

 

Tuesday, Dec. 12: 

Mercado Latino, 2105 Edison Highway, Bakersfield

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 13

Kern County Dept. of Human Services, 100 E. California Ave., Bakersfield

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Thursday, Dec. 14

Walmart, 2601 Fashion Plaza, Bakersfield

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Monday, Dec. 18

Walmart Supercenter, 5075 Gosford Rd., Bakersfield

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 20

Adventist Health Bakersfield, 2800 Chester Ave., Bakersfield

1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 27

New Life Church, 4201 Stine Rd, Bakersfield

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
