The Kern County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department held a community meeting in Wofford Heights this evening to address the Cedar Fire, which authorities say may have been caused by a person.
It is unknown if the wildfire was an act of arson at this time.
The Cedar Fire has currently burned more than 14,000 acres of brush and is currently about five percent contained.
