Kern County Sheriff's Office has identified 23-year-old Deverrie Schiller as the victim in a June homicide.
Schiller's cause of death is strangulation and KCSO is investigating the inciden as a homicide.
The incident was reported on June 26, 2016 at 9:52 a.m in California City.
California City police are still investigating this case.
