Los Angeles County Fire says they expect to have full containment of the South Fire, burning near Santa Clarita, sometime Monday.

As of Sunday evening, the fire was holding at 175 acres burned and 75% contained.
Good news, evacuations were lifted Saturday night and traffic on the I-5 re-opened by Sunday morning.
No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.

A brush fire burning just south of Santa Clarita is slowing traffic and forced evacuations on Saturday.
As of Satuday at 8 p.m., officials say the South Fire has burned 175 acres.

Mandatory evacuations have been lifted according to LA County Fire, but traffic is still being affected in the area.
