BREAKING: 2-month-old boy, subject of Amber Alert, found unharmed

UPDATE (11/4 12:20 p.m.) Jeffery Gomes, 42, and 2-month-old Jefferson Gomes have been located in Bakersfield. 

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office confirms the two were found around 11:55 a.m. Saturday. 

Officials said they also found the vehicle.

Officials said the child is unharmed. 

The California Highway Patrol made contact with Gomes at the Shell gas station in the 7200 block of S. Enos Lane in Bakersfield. 

The investigation is ongoing.

No further details have been released.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 1-month-old boy  abducted from Fort Tejon. 

The suspect is identified as 42-year-old Jeffrey Michael Gomes.

The 1-month-old boy has been identified as Jefferson Gomes Asian, brown hair, brown eyes, 12 pounds, and wearing a navy blue onesie.

One month old Jefferson Gomes was kidnapped while his family was headed northbound on I-5 Freeway near SR-138.

The family  stopped due to an argument with the parents, and the father of one of two children in the vehicle threatened to kill himself.

Jeffrey Gomes grabbed the 1-month-old boy and took off in a white 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck, with California license plate No. 02390P1 that was towing white Weekend Warrior trailer with blue stripes.

Jeffrey Gomes is believed to be wearing a black and grey long sleeve shirt, grey hat and dark blue jeans. Police say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

No other information has been released at this time.
