The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of Bakersfield resident, Bridget Soto, who was found unresponsive in a car outside the the It's Not Dead Festival venue around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night.
Sheriff's deputies said they found Soto, 33, after the festival ended. Soto had a ticket for the all-day punk rock festival but never entered the venue, deputies said.
Temperatures were over 100 degrees on Saturday, but officials said they aren't sure if heat was a factor in Soto's death, although foul play has been ruled out.
The It's Not Dead Festival hosted more than 30 punk rock bands at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino on August 26.
Nearly 10,000 people attended the festival. Officials said three people were taken to nearby hospitals for medical treatment and three others were arrested for public intoxication.
