Bakersfield College holding active shooter training seminar on Wednesday

Two weeks after the Las Vegas Shooting, Bakersfield College is holding active shooter training sessions to help the community be informed and prepared.

An active shooter training seminar will be held this week in the Fireside Room. It will be hosted by Chris Counts, Chief of Public Safety at BC.

BC recently held four active shooter response training sessions to all staff and students to be ready incase a gunman starts shooting on campus. 

The active shooter training seminar will be held Wednesday, October 18 from 6 to 7 p.m.
