This is Lori-Ann Wiley.  If you asked her how she would like to travel, she would probably say on four legs!  She is an equestrian which is a horseback rider and she literally is only a horseback rider.  She travels everywhere in Bakersfield by horse, legally of course!  CHP and the Bakersfield Police Department had some questions at first but now she even has their support!

She goes to the bank, through drive-thrus, the barber shop, and even goes to get a quick cup of joe with her kids at Starbucks, all on horseback!  Her love of horses has even gone into the competitive field where she has won many awards and trophies for her skills with her buddy. And they really are buddies that like having fun together!

She wants to get the word out about equestrian culture and to increase safety and public awareness of traveling by horseback.  She had several problems with other cars almost hitting her on the side of the road while riding legally, but this is not stopping her love of traveling by horse with her family.  Her adventures have even inspired others to travel by horseback and embrace the equestrian culture, and even stop by a couple of drive-thrus for a quick meal!

While saving gas and helping the environment, she plans on riding by horseback everywhere she goes, having a blast with her family by her side.
