An arrest has been made in connection with a homicide from Sunday morning.
According to Bakersfield Police, 42-year-old Victor Callo-Sanchez was questioned and arrested late Monday night after he was pulled over in Central Bakersfield in the area of 30th and Q streets.
Callo-Sanchez was a person of interest in connection with the death of 40-year-old Enrique Suarez on Sunday.
On Sunday morning, Suarez was assaulted in the area of East Truxtun and Brown Street. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Callo-Sanchez is set to be charged with first-degree murder Monday.
