BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Looking for something to do this weekend? Look no further than Hart Park in Bakersfield and the Hart Park After Dark event that takes place Saturday, October 19th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This free event will feature dozens of activities for the whole family. Halloween-related events include a jack-o’-lantern walk and costume contest. So dress up in your scariest or most creative outfits! Other activities include games, up-close magic, face painting, photo opportunities and much more.
The event is put on by the Kern County Library, the Kern County Administrative Office and Kern County Parks.
Again, the event takes place at Hart Park on Saturday, October 19th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Parking is free, with additional parking available at the Kern County Soccer Park. A free shuttle service is provided. You can get more information on the Hart Park After Dark Facebook page.
